I was suddenly reminded of the time, circa 2007, when I was searching for Kooky Tuason’s Multiply account (because I was hyper active there then and I was beginning to fall in love with spoken word) but instead of guessing the right username, I ended up in KC Concepcion’s account (which she [still] claims as her only outlet in cyberspace, “No MySpace. No active Facebook. No Friendster. No Blogspot. Just this.”

At first, I wasn’t even aware it was her. It was just very interesting to read about a young woman’s daily life as a student in Paris. I didn’t recognize her until I saw a self-portrait. Then I dropped dead.

True story.

That was before she went back to the Philippines and became too commercial. I liked her better sans the manufactured bullshit.
