The tables were full elsewhere.
I mean, we weren’t even trying to have dinner because it was Valentine’s, we just badly wanted to eat. So we ended up here.
We always get good value for their servings, anyway, and their drinks have always been fresh.
Oh, and we got the coolest table number! :)

Gumbo’s Sicilian Favorite is the shizznit! Xuds and I both enjoyed it and plan to clone their recipe someday. The 50% discount on pizza takeouts is a sweet deal too. (14MAYMMXI)

Nanos

We decided to try out Nanos yesterday, a new Italian place in SM City Manila. Our first impression? Sbarro rip-off!!! From the colors of the interior to the menu, everything would definitely look and feel familiar to anyone who loves Sbarro.
The food? She says it’s better than Sbarro. I agree only with the garlic bread. The rest, I’d have to think harder. I mean, both the pizza and pasta were surprisingly good but if asked to compare with Sbarro, I don’t think I’m ready to come up with an answer.
Important thing is that we were stuffed and satisfied.
We had peppermint tea at Caffe Ti-Amo right after—which is starting to become a favorite, mostly because of their quiet, tucked away spot in the mall.
We had a brief awkward encounter with the peculiar tea pot at first, but we soon got the hang of it. HAHA!
We kicked back for a while until our pot (pun not intended) ran out then decided to meet up with friends.
