Picked up Xuds from work.
Then we met up with Tope after dinner.

Makati
We missed The Vow at Shangri-La so Megamall was our last resort.
We got there in time for the last showing and so did everyone else. The lines were ridiculously long at the ticket booths! Which was a complete turn off especially for her. She was really sad.
It was a good thing we noticed a Happy Lemon on our way up to the cinemas—we didn’t know they had one at there. We went back down and sought comfort :)
Also, we’ve been looking forward to trying their drinks (and it sucks that they don’t have a branch at Greenbelt/Glorietta yet) so it was definitely a pleasant surprise. The experience was not a letdown, to say the least. And we made a vow to come back and try everything else on the menu—then decide on our favorites!
We plan to take this seriously, we took home their printed menu and have crossed out / will cross out items we’ve tried over time. HAHA! Not that it matters.
Good times!

Happy Lemon
SM Megamall
BonChon Chicken was packed.
So, we settled for Japanese after we checked movie schedules at the Cineplex and realized we had already missed the last viewing of The Vow that night.

Tokyo Tokyo
Shangri-La Plaza
The tables were full elsewhere.
I mean, we weren’t even trying to have dinner because it was Valentine’s, we just badly wanted to eat. So we ended up here.
We always get good value for their servings, anyway, and their drinks have always been fresh.
Oh, and we got the coolest table number! :)

Glorietta 5, Makati
Dinner before meeting up with Raffy to catch a movie—he was having a rough day. Xuds and I were set to watch The Vow but since he agreed to meet us, we ended up watching Chronicle.
Actually, days before, we’ve all planned to go ice skating that night but Tope chickened out HAHA! So there.

Glorietta 5
Makati
After picking her up at home and grabbing late lunch at McDonald’s Harrison Plaza, we headed off to Greenbelt to chill.
Realizing that neither Greenbelt nor Glorietta had a Happy Lemon branch, we looked around for the perfect snack—preferably something we’ve never tried together before.
Walked around for a bit but after we found no traces of Sac People bags and/or Aquazorb towels at Adora (we would later learn why), after I got disappointed by the available sizes of Penguin shirts at Anthem, and after drooling over chocolate creations at Sinfully, we settled at Razon’s Greenbelt 1.
Turns out, we’ve been missing out on their Pancit Luglug + Halo-Halo because they were just soooo good! Why we never chose to eat there before was beyond both of us. But we’re happy to have found a new favorite :)
(Seriously, I’ve been getting cravings since then, probably more often than she gets them HAHA)
We stayed for an hour or two then headed off to meet Raffy, MJ and Tope at Bonifacio High Street.
The most interesting thing happened on our way there: We got a free ride on the Fort Bus! HAHA! We weren’t trying to freeload or anything. But I’ll keep that story to ourselves for know ;)
So we got to Taguig, waited for them to arrive, got done with business transactions and had dinner at Brothers Burger. A day of food, free fun and friends.
Good times.

After posting what Xuds said about Valentine’s yesterday, this song began to play, as if on cue, in the background.
I felt like she was singing these words to me.
:)
I knew it! That was really her!
Juliet Simms = Automatic Loveletter
I didn’t get to watch her part, though (ergo, this video). But Xuds and I watched the rest of the show last night—which was a little more engaging compared to AI.
Work done and sent, thanks to the broadband stick lent by Xuds’ family :)
She’s doing better now, it’s good that she’s getting enough sleep over the past hours. She manages to wake up from time to time to eat, though. HEHE!
I, myself, will catch some Z’s in a few. I hope a kiss won’t wake her up.
